Keep Calm And Set SCE to AUX: Teespring Campaign

November 14, 1969 Apollo 12 leaps off the launch pad at the Kennedy Space Center. 36.5 seconds into launch Apollo 12 is struck by lightning. A second strike 52 seconds into launch disables the electrical systems onboard the Apollo 12 command module.Apollo 12 might have to abort. John Aaron, the Electrical, Environmental, and Consumables Manager at the time remembered seeing a similar failure from an early test. A call was made. "Flight, tell them to take the SCE to AUX"."What the hell is that?" comes over the radio. Alan Bean, inside the disabled command module, remembered that the switch was right behind him. He reaches back, hits the switch, and the warning lights clear. The command module has power again. All is well.Apollo 12 continues the mission.
